Related Finance Company Training Session & Workshop – These four hour, hands-on classes teach attendees how to determine if an RFC is the right path for their business, how to form an RFC, taxation and cash flow issues, startup costs, what oversight agencies are involved and much more. Class sizes are limited to 50 participants to ensure a high-quality learning experience and to make sure attendees get all their questions fully answered.
Repossession Seminars with Michael W. Dunagan - this will be a four hour course focusing on the proper procedures for collateral repossession. Topics will include private sale vs. strict foreclosure; mechanics liens; post-disposition accounting; impact of bankruptcy; allowable charges; disposition of personal property and "rent-to-own" wheels, tires and rims; shut-off and tracking devices and much more. Mr. Dunagan has been general counsel to TIADA for over 30 years. He is the author of "Texas Automobile Repossessions: A Lien Holder's Legal Guide" as well as several other industry books. He is one of the most recognizable and respected figures in the independent auto industry in Texas.
BHPH Collections Training with Steve Peterson - This four hour seminar is designed for all collection department employees as well as lending officers and office management. Everyone will learn valuable tools to become better, more efficient collectors. Steve has presented on this topic for the Georgia IADA as well as many credit unions nationwide and received very good reviews.

Association Meetings – This year's Summer Conference will be held July 27-29 in Horseshoe Bay, Texas. Our State Convention will be held November 7-9 in The Woodlands, Texas. Contact the state office for early registration information, exhibitor info and sponsorship opportunities.
